New Shit

December 24th, 2007

Merry Fishmas!

Here's a slide show of pictures that were posted during 2007. Trip out.

December 22nd, 2007

I said I had a bunch of clips, and since Rich hooked it up with an extra firewire cord, here they are.

Kids have to stop being pussies.

December 21st, 2007

Jonny thinks this is funny.

Ripping off a rip off.

December 13th, 2007

I think this is really funny.

December 11th, 2007

I'm fucking up with not updating.

I don't know who this Brad Urman is, but so far hes batting a thousand with his emails(his first included the young Sunshine picture).

Brion comes back from DC in a few days. Rad.

I swear I have footage I could be sharing, but I need a better firewire cord.

Stories with Eddie.

December 5th, 2007

I just bought Fully Flared. Fully Disapointed. Yeah right. Definitely lived up to the hype. A bit long and over dramatic but do you expect. Also all the older dudes had insanely rad parts. Even though Scott Johnston had less than 10 tricks, they were all dope.

Im not going to say this is why we like Bobby Worrest, but it doesn't hurt.

December 1st, 2007

Someone let me borrow the skateboard mag with Moss's shit in it.

Nicky Tiso handed me this cd. He said "...it's punk, I'll think you'll like it." I was instantly sold.

I finally listened to it and I liked it. Thanks for handing it to me. It reminds me of some Crucifucks shit, which I was also drawn to due to the sacrilegious name.

Marlboro poster child.

The Birdhouse video is so shitty, while the Osiris video is suprisingly good, especially for being a freebie.

November 28th, 2007

I know I said I was going to proof read Paul Zitzer's article, but I am going to wait until I hook my scanner up and borrow someone's copy of the mag. Also expect a review of a local Band's CD that I was handed a few month's back.

Right now, I'll just talk about the new montage. I liked it. I especially dug Cam's footage and Moss's shit that wasn't from 2005. What I didn't like was the kid being in it that once talked shit on Barker. No time for that. Also notice how I gave myself filming credits. I filmed two clips, and both were about two years ago. Now Rich does give me credit and said I've been in CO for a bit. But remember, I've now been back in Irvine for just as long as I was out there. Whatever, Sunshine and his chronies are taking over the scene. I guess I really can't do much to stop it.

Speaking of Sunshine, check this clip of me skating yet another bank. Thanks for bootleggin that Chris. Notice those pink wheels? Badass.

November 27th, 2007

LARPing.

November 24th, 2007

I don't think it is news to anyone that skateboarding is in a pretty sorry state. Now that it is bigger and more popular than ever, things are getting out of control. MTV has now cashed in countless times on the success of skateboarding. It started with Bam, and we now have Sheckler. Epicly Later'd is also now being aired on mtv2. What is so appealing to the general public about this shit we do?

Anyways, now that people see what skating is, or often times inappropriately depicted as, they want to get in on it. I see Moms driving their kids to a skatepark, (that happens to be closed allowing us to skate padless)hopping the fence and forcing a kid who would have never been motivated to step on a board 10 years ago to ride down the ramps. The kid slams, and the mom gets angry because she soon sees she's not dealing with a future mtv reality show star. Its total bullshit.

Also there is talk about an Irvine centered 411 section. Whats that tell you about this "booming" industy? Yep, it's fucked. But I guess it's time I too start needing money for something I normally do for free, and especially for fun.

Hopefully my long winded rant makes up for the total lack of anything from me on this site. But come back next time for when I review Paul Zitzer's writing.

November 16th, 2007

Moss is going to Fully Flared. I'm pretty jealous. This video seems like it's going to be talked about for a good while after. Kind of how we still talk about Mouse and Welcome to Hell.

As long as Rick Howard has a full part, the video will be a success in my mind.

Here's something I made to show Jonny some beef's during BeerStorm filming. I spelled totally wrong, I know.

November 14th, 2007

Cameron's thinking about finally getting his driver's license. He'll just bone out.

Eddie thought this was pretty awesome.

November 7th, 2007

Just saw the Nike video. I can't believe P-Rod skated to Teenage Riot. Are we expected to believe he chose that? Well, I'm not. Omar Salazar should have had last part.

Brett Nichols sent over this link to a video hes in. Looks sick Nichols.

Here's another kinda old miniramp clip. I'm tech as fuck.

November 5th, 2007

Skatin' Steve is one of my favorite skaters. Lets vote on him for this years SOTY.

At Damn Am Moss got beat by half of the cast of Sheckler's show. Embarassing.

November 3rd, 2007

Back again. Irvine sucks. As soon as I get back Cameron and I get tickets.

Heres a clip from a day at some park that is not in Chino, but instead Corona, Rich.

Moss has got some shit in the new Skateboard Mag and I think Sean is on some Tour with Tony Hawk. Blowin' up.

4kegger is officially in progress. Barker kicked it off in San Francisco and Steven got his back in Irvine.

Noah, I have your phone.

October 23rd, 2007

I retrieved my computer and it is now back at the Sucks' Irvine headquarters.

This update is kind of pointless because I'm leaving again for another week and the site will go unattended yet again. Sorry. The good news is I am going up to San Fran to scout out future locations for another Irvine-Sucks branch. Also 4Kegger will begin filming, on location. Alex B. and Chris G., I am thanking you before hand for letting me stay there. So even when you inevitably kick me out, just know I am very thankful.

I think it is about time to start making some more BoneStorm copies. I'll get in on that soon.

Heres a clip of Noah almost getting a sick line(this was kind of in BoneStorm but not entirely). My record button broke in half on that slam.

October 7th, 2007

The site will be down for a bit, not really sure for how long. I got a bunch of stuff to do and figure out. Plus I'll be away from my computer for at least a week, probably two.

To keep everyone happy between updates, I threw together a MossMan bonus part, which is over in the vid box. This is all footage that hasn't shown up anywhere before. This was filmed from 2003 to 2007 and chronicles the stages of Moss through out the years. We have the Blind-am backwards-hat phase, to his sponsorless-metal-bench-down-on-his-luck phase, and even some current dickie wearing dlx whore phase.

Also Abo sent a clip over a while ago and I did not know what I was supposed to do with it, so I'm just going post it. "It ain't you all, it's y'all" starring AGB and John Choi. Where'd that Miata come from?

What a disappointing post season.

October 4th, 2007

The MossMan has a Liberty Board shop ad out, aswell as a 411 opener. I won't spoil his opener (although if you saw BoneStorm you know it) but I will say Sheckler is an over rated turd.

October 1st, 2007

I've quit going to class and instead I just go to the park down the street to learn how to skate transitions. I have a review for a test today, but I think learning back disasters is more important.

Rich's post makes me happy.

Here's a clip that almost never got filmed. I was just sitting down, and decided to press record and pointed the camera at Moss. For a while I thought that hard flip manny was a banging trick, until upon further review when I relized it was an illusion flip manual(insert John Choi slowmo noise here). Nice try Moss.

September 27th, 2007

Well, I just had a private screening of Chris' 'Gracias Por Nada', and it's a hit. Thanks for sending it out here Chris. Everyone had a really sick part, and I can finally check off one of my life time goals, be in a montage with Riley Hawk. I'm going to say my favorite part has to go to homie to the heart, Damian Loud. You know Damian went to my middle school, but back then he went by Woodrow. He also choked me out and made me cry in PE.

In response to Karl's post, I also noticed the male bueaty's resemblance to Val from Brink, but I wasn't quite sure. I wonder why they chose to identify him as a club promoter instead of an accomplished actor.

September 24th, 2007

Sucks affiliate, TP Todd Perry sent over another video he made at el Rampo de Barker.

Speaking of miniramps, check out Moss rocking those Vans in Rich's liberty ramp clip. Danny and Colin aren't mad, they're just disapointed. Oh, and Killa Cam's tricks were choice. I know I don't know you guys to well, but it would be excellent if the amigos at shredlove could post more Cameron and Billy footage. Those guys are sick.

September 21st, 2007

I guess 4Kegger hype is already in the air. Rich decided to join the fun, and sent me this little picture from school.

Chris just posted some info for his premiere in the 3rd box. Check it. Good luck with that guys, I hope everything works out, and I'm sure the video will be sick.

September 17th, 2007

So I posted my B$ bonus montage, and it is pretty shitty and drags on.

You guys know about that countdown for the Lakai video premiere? Well that is also going to serve as the count down until we embark on the next video endeavor...4Kegger.

September 13th, 2007

This is so funny I had to make another post today.

From the brilliant minds at eightequalsd.com, here is the Sheck-Tat Generator. So simple, but so genius.

September 13th, 2007

The site has been killing lately. Good work bros. I assume everyone saw Rich's sick bonus montage. I'm currently working on mine. As for Richard's review of the new TWS video, I'd have to agree on most things he said. But I still think Transworld videos these days lack flavor. I swear it's been the same exact video since In Bloom, just swapping out the skaters.

18 to 6! That's what I like to see. I can't wait till October, so I can actually watch the games.

Here's a bonus John clip, that just couldn't quite hang in the bonus montage.

September 9th, 2007

Here's a suprise video turd for all you dopes that are bummed you don't own a limited edish copy of BoneStorm. It's a promo I made about a year and a half ago for the vid.

And just incase you never found the other secret promos hidden through out the site, heres a link to them both. 1 and 2. Don't judge me.

September 5th, 2007

That Amsterdam video pisses me off. Those kids are too fucking good, and have undoubtedly been skating half as long as my crusty ass. Fuck you Chris. Naa, I'm kidding, kind of. Well incase you haven't gotten your fill of those tie dye wearing Birdhouse goofs, here's a clip of Sunshine and crew killin the new Adio park. That park looks too rad these days. Chris, seriously if you don't get me in there, I'll break your wrist again.

First Loy footage, now Slash footage...this site has lost all it's standards. Whatever I really like this part for some weird reason.

September 3rd, 2007

Wow, the front page photo is out of control. Karl gave a little disclaimer..."Okay but remember she put my hand there."

Make sure to watch Karl's B-storm recap, its pretty rad.

Also check the Dankest box, because there are two new posts by Karl and Sunshine. Chris posted a couple of clips, one of a prepubescent Figgs commiting one of skating's deadly sins.

September 1st, 2007

Rich, I'm sorry, but it turns out I had a bunch of almost landed tricks, just in different folders. Here's what I got.

So Sheckler's show? Yeah I don't know how they managed to make Sheck look like a bigger pussy, but I guess you can't put anything past those MTV bigwigs. I mean how is it possible that a kid can land a 360 lipslide down the gnarliest rail, in front of thousands of screaming fans, but still have trouble getting chicks? Hmm, I wonder.

August 28th, 2007

Incase you haven't noticed, there are two new videos in the video box. One contains a bunch of the tricks that people almost pulled, and the other is a montage of the super 8 I filmed over the last year. A lot of the film is out of focus or over exposed, and that is because I have no idea how to shoot super 8. I still think it looks cool though.

Steven, there is hope.

I forgot to post this a while back, but I think it's still funny.

August 26th, 2007

I got a clip from a while back. Back when the miniramp was on its first layer of masonite. Watch Abo and me get lame.

I just watched Tent City for the first time (I know, I'm a loser). Anyways, it's my new favorite video.

And I was wrong about missing the Ryan Sheckler show, it's actually premiering tomorrow night. Can't Wait.

"I think I get more psyched by this than I do for the Lakai trailers." -Moss Man

August 23rd, 2007

Thats a pretty gutsy move Chris, posting the premiere info almost a month early, especially when it is at the same place where BoneStorm showed and the owners vowed never to let anything like that happen again. Well, that should be a good night, I'm bummed I wont be there.

As Rich said, be on the look out for savage clips that didn't make the video.

August 21st, 2007

I'm in the middle of nowhere, Rich is down in SD, Barker and Karlos are keepin it real in SF, John Choi is visiting the motherland, and Jonny is stinkin up San Luis Obispo. Can Irvine-Sucks still survive? Yes, but it is going to need people to help out and post. Right now I've got a limited supply of content, and I have a feeling my box is going to get even crappier. Abo, Beav, Noah, and anyone else still in Irvine and willing to post some shit, please do.

Shit, I forgot to watch Ryan Sheckler's new show. It should be a riot.

Heres a bonusstorm clip from Skatin' Steve. This was just one of many boards that Steven smashed trying to get gnarly, and also one of many varial heels he tried to get for the video.

August 16th, 2007

Today is my last day in Irvine, and the future of the site is still in the air. I believe Rich and I can still keep it crackin in between Irvine visits where we can hopefully make montages and stuff.

But now that the video is over I have a bunch of clips that were never used. This first set of clips are of me, because I really like watching my own footy, as shitty as it is.

Well adios amigos, and thanks to everyone in La Sucks Familia. This summer was one of the funnest I have ever had, and its all because of you guys.

August 12th, 2007

Here goes the first post post-bonestorm. Thanks to everyone that came out to the premiere. It was pretty hectic in the beginning, and I know some people didn't make it in, which is shitty. But besides that it was an awesome night. I'd say it was worth the 2 and a half years of filming.

Bummer of the night, Billy got the possession ticket.

I'm pretty lost on what to do with the site these days.

August 10th, 2007

See everyone at 8 tonight.

Today Jonny asked me a good question..."whats next?"...

...4 Kegger.

August 7th, 2007

Well, the premiere is coming up in a few days and here is the low down. The theater only holds about 220 seats, so if you are going to this video just because it is the thing to do, please stay at home. I don't really want to see a group of little girl taking up seats(although Moss probably wouldn't mind). This video is strictly for people that skate and understand skating and want to support their friends. I am only saying this because there has been a lot of talk about cooks cruising and taking up space that could be used for people who will truly enjoy the video. If you are not down, you won't get in. If you are down, then I'll see you there.

Oh yeah, don't get too rowdy. This video premiere was completely funded by us, so if shit gets wrecked or it gets shut down, thats a few hundred dollars down the drain.

Sorry about sounding like a total dick. I got to get back to editing.

Skip's promo.

August 2nd, 2007

August 10th is the date. More info to come about that.

John, Cam, and Moss get blunted.

July 31st, 2007

The new montage is up. It's not our best work, but I just wanted to get another montage out before the video.

TP yo, TP.

Abo turned 21 yesterday. Abo, I'm still recovering from your party. Thanks for the great time.

July 27th, 2007

Irvine locals... brace yourself for a heartbreaker. Willows (the most savage/everyone's first handrail in Irvine)is knobbed. Noah, our hearts go out to you.

I'm psyched on the SF vid thats up now. Rich, smith shuvs? Totally rad.

Isn't it crazy that the video we have been working on for about 2 years is coming out in 2 weeks?

Happy Birthday Cam. You no longer have to ask me to buy you packs of newports.

New montage, coming soon.

July 24th, 2007

I'm not too down with this. I think it's about time I copyright this name. Plus these guys really do hate Irvine, which is not what the Sucks is about.

July 23rd, 2007

Everyone's back in Irvine and trying to put the finishing touches on the vid. I need to know what song some people want to use so tell me that soon, or I'm choosing for you.

Here's a clip of Jonny in his new hood.

July 20th, 2007

I guess Rich and crew headed out to SF for the weekend. Word is Moss had to claim to be the Birdhouse TM to convince Johnny D's parents to let him cruise. Moss, Cam, and JC, its your duty to force beers down those two's throats.

A rival road trip to San Luis Obispo is also heading out for the weekend. The motley crew includes Abo, Mike Sun, and myself. Were meeting up with Jonny to shred/get stupid. We most likely won't be coming back with a video to document it.

Days until the video drops: 21. Are you ready to be let down?

July 16th, 2007

Not much to say, but clips are coming in and the video will be done sooner than you know it.

Here's a clip of Abo doing an ollie.

I only need a few more clips to complete the next montage, so wait for that.

July 14th, 2007

Just incase you don't, start checking epiclylaterd.com. Irvine's golden boy/town hero, Justin Figueroa has made an appearance on the site and by the looks of it, he was either knocking back some brews or tokin Bs. Either way, good job figs.

I think this will be the last time I name drop Figs to gain fame for the site.

July 8th, 2007

So I figured out a way to capture footage again no thanks to John Choi, and found a few clips. The first is some mess around shit we got on the 4th of July hanging around Cameron's hood. The second is Jonny's first clip for his sector nine sponsor tape.

The video comes out in a month. It will suck.

Abo claims the Active in Tustin or Costa Mesa want to do a product toss at the premiere. If that happens, it is the duty of any loyal Sucks family member to give the culprits a crippler cross face. Too soon?

July 6th, 2007

There a bunch of lame clips that I want to capture and post, but John Choi took away the camera and firewire cord I used to capture footage. So thank him for making the site even shittier.

Does anyone remember when skate videos used to be good? Now even the wealthiest skate companies like Element put out shitty videos. That video had some pretty bad filming, some weird ass skating, and easily the worst sound track to a skate video yet. Element really sucks. Tosh ripped.

July 4th, 2007

I haven't updated in a while.

Happy Birthday Eddie Lee.

Here is a clip to make up for my lameness.

June 27th, 2007

What the fuck is Jordan doing here? Weird things are happening these days.

I got jury duty.

June 23rd, 2007

We got some clips over at Barker's ramp a couple of nights ago. This is not really an edited montage, just footage to a song. Its 6 minutes long but there are some funny clips to look out for. Here you go.

Were headed out to SD. Hopefully something comes in.

June 19th, 2007

Is it on your calender? 52 more days.

Jonny Fryer goes to college tomorrow. What a loser. Also Cam and John are graduating high school. Thats funny to me.

Rich is so legit these days. He goes to special industry head only video premieres. Also the Mag gets their news from his box.

I'm going to go skate Barkers ramp. Hopefully I'll have some actual clips tomorrow.

June 15th, 2007

I was recently cruising the interweb scene when I came across another "box" labled "Listen Up". I checked the archives and as I suspected their site was born just a couple months after ours. Biters.

Also, vafleezers has a new montageout, with some supple Pat Burke footy.

June 12th, 2007

Skatin' Steve's parents think he has anger issues. Steven claims he doesn't. Parents just dont understand.

Jonny has been steady crushin for a while now. Watch him float this cesspool like it was nothing. Speaking of floaters, you could see actual dookies floating by. Gross.

Noah bought beer for minors today.

June 11th, 2007

Nothing to talk about. I started editing some parts for the video, and I also started working on the next montage. People have been asking if I'm going to make another promo for the video. The answer is most likely a no. Theres already a real promo on the site, and then two less legit ones lurking around here. Plus we have about 10 montages. If you need to see more to want to see the vid, then sorry dudes.

June 6th, 2007

Wow, Figs' cover is pretty out of control. I try not to get caught up in counting stairs, but an eighteen is on another level. Good job with that one.

Check Karl and Abo's video of probably one of the worst days of my life, spending about 20 hours in the cult/church youth group environment that is a chick fila grand opening. Incase you can't tell from mine and John's incoherent rambling, we almost lost our minds. If it wasn't for our legal amigo Brion Baer bringing in some necessary supplies that bent all the chick fila rules, we probably wouldn't have made it out sane. Anyways the video is pretty long, but definitely worth it just to see Max and Karlos bust a move. And it's also in AbovisionHD.

Max P.(the star of yet another Karl motion picture)is in the process of making Irvine-Sucks decks. That's pretty gnarly.

Mini Ramp Update: Fixed and ready. There are some screw heads popping out here and there, but that just gives the ramp character. We're just waiting for Barker to say the words and the RampJam finale will be on.

June 3rd, 2007

Just heard from the RichMan. He said hed be back in Illvine on Tuesday.

Its Noah's 21st birthday today. No more yacking in brand new chickfila bathrooms for him. Happy Birthday bud.

Heres a clip of Brion, attempting to skate my least favorite spot, in Noah's least favorite city.

Karl Karlson is working on a new video to go in the much neglected video box. Be ready for that.

June 1st, 2007

Where the fuck is Rich? Rumor has it he became a Colombian drug lord.

Here is a clip of Jfru jumping 13s like a champ.

Who wants to buy 52 coupons to chikfila?

May 29th, 2007

Clips are pouring in. Karl got this one during the sesh.

ProgNeg came out 3 years ago to this date, and I've only gotten worse.

May 27th, 2007

Damn, yesterday I basically skated for 12 hours straight, and it was pretty productive. 3 clips for BonerJams, excellent.

Since I'm going through all my tapes to find all of Jonny's lost footage, I am coming across some gems. Heres an old line of Jonny, before he knew how to do flip tricks, and aclip of me demonstrating why I dont skate gaps. I think that was the final day filming for ProgNeg.

May 23rd, 2007

Here's a couple of flippers over a speed bump at UCI by Alex B.

Nothing else to say, except Rich is building houses in South America. Gnarly. Oh, I also like the miniramp at Norwalk park.

May 20th, 2007

Way too many computer problems around here. My hard drive just fucked up all Jonny's footage. Remember how I said I had 50 tapes for the vid? Fuck.

Noah getting nutty. John Choi getting studdly.

Oh yeah, no more "Irvine-Sucks" parties.

May 16, 2007

I just logged my 50th tape for Osiris's the boneSTORM. I'm guessing Rich has just as many, if not more. 100 hours and still going. Here are some random clips that went down over the weekend trying to get bangers.

Skatin' Steve, Mike Sun would definitely be proud of that boardslide. While skating that rail, the coppers came and everyone scattered, except me and the beaver. The cop brought me up on some computer saying I had a warning back from 2001. Six years and I'm still skating UCI.

I'm in the process of scheduling a premiere date for the vid. I'm shooting for the middle of August, so keep your calenders empty.

May 15th, 2007

I was on my daily skate website check, and I came across this on the shredlove site(actually Moss told me about it).

Damn, when did Cameron outgrow Billiam?

May 14th, 2007

Fuck, sorry. Computer problems.

Karl has a money post.

Check bobshirt.com because I have nothing to say. And I think Rich is on some hiatus, right?

May 7th, 2007

Bros, the Sucks headquarters has been having computer problems. Hopefully those are behind us.

John Choi is having his birthday party at HSP tomorrow(Tuesday) night. He said there will be pizza.

Here's a clip of John almost getting a line. Happy Birthday John.

Karl Karlson is hinting at another t-shirt sale, so be on the look out.

May 3rd, 2007

The camera is back.

Hopefully something worthwhile will come soon, like some clips or a montage, but don't hold your breath.

As for now here is a picture of John Choi from last weeks party at the Mayor's Mansion. Happy Birthday Bomb Krom.

April 29, 2007.

The video is in its closing months, and tricks are getting done. Cameron was hyped on the most recent banger.

Three more weeks until summer break. Money.

April 25, 2007.

Current $ucks/$torm Tech Status: My computer almost broke and my camera is coming back. If anyone has a broke ass VX1000, I highly suggest sending it to this place. My camera was so jacked, and its already on its way back, costing me no more than 400 bills.

Stupid older clip of Brion and Jonny.

April 23rd, 2007.

I've always thought that it's the small things that matter the most, especially in skateboarding. Whether its seeing Noah drunk at some art show with free booze or the quality moments spent at spots, skating is much more than getting tricks. I thought I had something intelligent to say but I guess not.

Anyways, if you want to see some good ol' fashioned fun skating, check out these parts from the Brea vid "it coulda been worse". Moss knows these guys so I think it's ok that I link them.

April 20th, 2007.

"Hey Nick,
Alright, your cam arrived and I have it in pieces. Sit down, I have a list. I’ll start with the obvious. The deck jam is caused by the TU Coaster block that fell out and the arm that drives it is flopping and jamming things up.When it was in the process of coming off it hit the drum and scored it right down the middle. It may work ok but there’s no way to know until I can test it. Some moisture has gotten in also. Sweat? Salt water? Can’t really tell but the Exposure wheel and the AK-11 board that feeds it have got to go. The lens driver board has some on it as well but should be able to clean that up. The mic is hanging. The left and right mic cabinet assy’s that support it have to be replaced. And last (so far) is the Standby knob. It costs almost nothing and to do all this work and not replace would be a crime. As long as that pretty much does it we’re looking at $325 or so. Just get back to me and let me know.

Thanks Bud,
Kerry"

Well that's the status of my camera, along with the obligatory 420 post.

April 16th, 2007.

Dang, I am sorry I do not have a sweet montage to post like the other boxes. Instead I'll just point out what I liked about both. I liked how Jonny got Moss's back with the same trick only not switch, I like the John Choi flannel footy (looks like hes ready for Santa Cruz), and I like Brions disapproving stares in the BGPs of Abos tricks.

April 14th, 2007.

Well I sent my camera into the shop, so it looks like I'm cameraless for aout 3 weeks. That probably also means the possibilites of a post with good footage is pretty slim. As for now enjoy this older clip of Brion when my camera worked.

April 12th, 2007.

Heres a list a of my top 5 favorite searches that lead viewers to irvine-sucks this month.

1. bukakae parties

2. ryan sheckler 16th birthday

3. tony hawk information how tall fat fast tricks why he is the best skater

4. nick martsch

5. what happened to peter smolik

And here is a clip of from the dance video, without music. It's pretty awkward.

April 9th, 2007.

Well, this weekend turned pretty sour for the Nick man. It started with my camera biting the dust again, followed by a face plant in a beautiful Los Angeles County ditch off the 5 freeway.

Fortunately, a lot of tricks were done and submitted to BoneStorm Library of Footage.

April 4th, 2007.

As Rich stated a couple of posts ago, a few of us went down to San Deigo and ecountered three really weird kids. I swear these kids were 11 and trying to buy weed off Lameron.

Steven even got that kids back and busted a pretty juicy trick down that set. You are going to have to wait to see that though.

April 2nd, 2007.

Here's a special treat for you guys. Moss made a video of his trip to AZ with D.Loud, Abo, and Spencer. It's pretty wacky, and if you can stand the first minute I recommend watching the whole thing because Damian throws out a serious banger at the end. Enjoy or die.

April 1st, 2007.

I know, I'm getting lazy and letting other people post for me now.

I'm going to try to make sure April is a little bit more exiting than March over here at the Sucks. And with that here's a clip from a shitty day we spent at a spot that has been off the skate radar for years.

March 31st, 2007.

(Post by Noah Spindler)

Originally I thought these pictures were going to be about the Toy Machine premiere. From the second we parked, they ended up being more so about Cameron getting as high and as drunk as he possibly could, and me fanning out on skateboard celebrities. Also, I failed to photograph Nate Sherwood, who was definitely there. This group of shots was my next post-to-be, but later that week I learned I'd been replaced by self described "number one Noah", so I sat on them for a couple of... five months.

March 28th, 2007.

Damn, the site is pretty dead right now. Sorry.

Here is another clip that is pretty random. Barker skates huge four blocks.

For everyone who doesn't check crailtap.com daily, you should go and watch the Daryl Angel HD video. So rad.

March 25th, 2007.

Sorry for the lack of updates for the last week. I guess we've just been out skating a lot.

Here is a clip of Cameron. Plenty of other tricks went down on this gap, and they were not filmed backside, so you are going to have to wait for those.

March 19th, 2007.

Now thanks to Abo and hdskate.com's money tutorial, I know own After Effects and am able to make sick ramped slow mos.

I got another clip from Abo's digicam folder. The file is called "the real retard". Good timing Abo, I can tell you have been taking notes on the filming from the Foundation video.

I have been remixed.

March 18th, 2007.

Nothing much to say except John Choi is getting pretty crazy. Here's more proof.

March 16th, 2007.

Well, I'm done editing the San Fran Trip video. Remember that the guys who went on the trip were not Moss, Billy, or Sean, so don't expect any top notch skating, although Barker did kind of break it off. Also, there is a direct chomp on this beer goggle montage rip off, so I don't want to hear any complaining about that. Other than that enjoy the 8 shitty minutes of footage (with only about two minutes of actually skating) we collected from our three day stint in SF. Oh yeah, if you're disapointed by how it starts off strong, then gets progressively worse it is because I got lazy. Sorry, enough excuses.

March 14th, 2007.

Abo sent me a huge file of random clips he got on his digicam, most of which I have deemed unpostable. However there are some gems. I especially like this one of Moss showing he can get innovative behind the lens.

In Rich's last post, he forgot to mention the name of the newest tws video. "Lets Do This"? Transworld is getting so lame.

I saw the new Foundation video. This video also bites, with the exception of the Nuge and Corey Duffel. The video is kind of worth it just for those guys. And by worth it I mean finding it on google video.

Jonny and Cameron's footage has been the newest victim of video part butchery, courtesy of PNW Peter.

March 12th, 2007.

This one is for that guy that hates me for skating banks and wearing halfcabs. Montage 7 bonus.

Rumor has it Irvine-Sucks sold out? So weak.

I think the SF video is still in the works, so it's in your best interest to not wait for it in anticipation.

March 10th, 2007.

Brion Baer is up on the Jive.

Word on the street is Karl's shirt sale was a huge success, and even some wactive employees showed up and tried to undercut his sales.

March 7th 2007.

Go and get a shirt!

So about a year ago I gave a lot footage to my friend Peter so he could cheat the system in some video production class and he pretty much just did a reedit of ProgNeg with some additions here and there. He named it "Spew Into This" as a reference to one of the best films ever made, Wayne's World. "If you're going to spew, spew into this."-Garth Algar. Well now the intro is posted up at his site, (irvine-sucks rip off, thus a crail tap rip off)the PNWJIVE.

March 5th 2007.

I guess we're getting better at this, because it only took us two days to get the site up and running again opposed to the usual month.

Barker, Jonny, Eddie, and I made a trip up to San Fran over the weekend and met up with Brion and other former Irvine shredders turned NorCal barneys. We collected a lot of footage(unfortunately not many skate tricks) and there will be a mini tour video type thing. I even made sneak peek for it. My editing has been getting pretty intense lately if you haven't noticed. Big Thanks to Chris Greeley for letting us crash at his place yet again, and also thanks for the Super 8 camera.

Another way to get some excellent clips from Irvine is to watch Todd Perry's youtube videos. He pretty much has a series going.

Also Cameron was complaining I've never put a picture of him on the front page, so March is going to be Furbong appreciation month.

March 1st 2007.

Well we made it through two full years and the site is still kicking. Keep coming, although it probably can only get worse.

Also we are passed the our renewal date and haven't paid the bills yet, but we're still up. Hopefully we can pay before it goes down.

Lastly, I'm heading out till Sunday, and hopefully I come back with some sort of video of the weekend.

February, 25th 2007.

I made another secret BongStorm promo and it's hidden somewhere on this crappy place. It sucks a lot.

The $ucks is coming up on it 2nd anniversary. This means Rich and I have to renew everything which might lead to some trouble and the site going down for a minute. Sorry about that.

Cameron drops bangers, not bombs.

Also there is a hot new video promoting the new product line, but I am waiting for a post, so sit tight.

February, 22nd 2007.

Wow, Jonny sure does have a way with words. Look at his newest post... do I smell a Pulitzer? Jonny, give up those nollie 360 flips and go forth with your writing career.

Sunshine, by us allowing you to bite the ending of the BoneStorm teaser, you can consider yourself paid back for the board and wheels. Also, next time you want to use up our precious bandwidth, pick a song with a less annoying singer. Other than that, good work guys, video looks good. That reminds me of Jereme Rogers in Harsh Barge, "..Course looks good." Jereme Rogers has been getting a lot of shit these days, but I still think hes cool.

I just realized I offer nothing to this site anymore, except for posting everyone's shit and talking shit. Is this a problem?

February, 18th 2007.

As usual, Rich came back from his secret San Diego life, brought up team moral, captured and even busted some hot clips. Expect those from Rich soon, in either a post, a montage, or in the feature film BonerJams 03.

And even better news is Moss has been gone this weekend, in AZ for some reason. Some speculate he's with the Liberty dudes, but who knows/cares.

February, 17th 2007.

There has been a pretty big response to the shirts Karl and Alex made, and they are almost ready to make the next batch. Hopefully we can set something up so potential buyers can order the shirts or something, but that probably won't be sometime soon. As of now, just get a hold of those two guys, and ask to buy one.

February, 14th 2007.

Over the past weekend, Abo got in on the digital camera video craze. Moss and Cameron got in on it too.

Oh yeah, Irvine-Sucks shirts are flying off the shelf so get them while you can. Karl and Barker are in charge, so contact them, or just go to hsp and hope one of them is there and selling them out of their car. Plus expect a showstopper of a promotional video promoting the suck's new product line.

February, 11th 2007.

It looks like Chris Greeley and Noah have some harsh competition for Doug Martsch's #1 fan. That guys stoked.

For some reason we've been skating spots that are practically not spots. Also for some other reason I have a weird black dot on the inside of lens that shows up sometimes. Sorry Beav.

Also Noah has his No Skateboarding photos up at OCC's Fine Art Center. The closing reception is Tuesday the 13th at 7:00 pm. Check it out.

February, 9th 2007.

I guess I can't wait for Jonny to write something for the next group of clips we got on his little camera, so I'm going to steal his thunder and post them.

Clip 1: Triples, featuring Cameron and the Z boys.

Clip 2: Shut the fuck up Donny, Moss.

Clip 3: Style for a mile.

Clip 4: Jonny, faking it.

Clip 5: Smooth Operating a JFBSTS.

Sorry if my line doesn't really count as a clip. I know I didn't exaclty land 2/3rds of the tricks and Jonny's filming could easily have him diagnosed with parkinsons, but it was the first clip I ever got with a pair of Dickies on. So corporate.

Also, to Steve Bigelow, I accidently deleted your email when trying to respond. That ditch is deep in the woods of griffith park in LA, and thats pretty much all I know.

February, 6th 2007.

I agree with Rich. That third box is being heavily neglected, and Rich and I are out of ideas. I know Jonny has some sweet footage he filmed on his digital camera, but he's being a piece of shit and not getting them to me. I guess you can look forward to that.

February, 4th 2007.

I was informed that staple Irvine spot Pool 3 is going to be on its way out. Construction crews have been surveying the gap, and most likely will shut it down with a fence or something like that. Bummer for John Choi.

January, 31th 2007.

This is a must read. Also watch the video. If you don't burst into laughter, you are a piece of shit because this is the funniest thing in skateboarding right now.

"Dan Drehobl, he's a widdler, no big deal."

Here's another video to watch with The Moss Man and some other heavy hitters skating Brea park and the Liberty ramp. Who does a line with four blunts in it?

And one more video. I feel this clip deserve to be the ender.

January, 30th 2007.

It looks like everyone can complain about what goes on the site but no one really wants to give a decent idea. As of now I guess Jonny is doing the third box. I'll be suprised if I don't hear atleast 10 people whining about it.

Alex B. informs me t-shirts are in the works. Get ready for that.

Lastly, for anyone having Dave Carnie withdrawls, check out this site.

January, 27th 2007.

I guess if the Gonz says analog video is cool again then it must be cool, right.

Massimo, filmed by Sandrimo.

VHS-C of Jonny Fryer, Michael Sun, and myself, a solid 7 years ago.(I think this was in progneg but that doesn't mean you shouldn't watch it again.)
