Went to Irvine for a minute and did the normal routine. Eat in and out all day, go to the wall, have a therapy session with Noah, black out, get a wake up call at 11 from Jonny, go skate, go home, black out again...Pretty good stuff. Here's a little Irvine video report and some pictures of my days. I filmed some pretty sick tricks too, but those aren't getting out.
I hope people don't think that I think people are actually interested in our lives and like looking at retarded pictures and videos of us doing things that all skaters do. I just feel obligated to put some stuff on this site every once and while. Sorry, trust me, I know its fucking lame.
Big plans for this place in the near future. Lets say summer 09.

Check out this article I just came across. Don't think I am celebrating some victory or anything, because this sucks in many ways. I have friends who work at Active's and plenty more who get hooked up by them. Lots of cool people could possibly get screwed over by this. I'm just saying I am not surprised. It's just a testament to why I think Active's don't belong in skateboarding. They were opening shops like they were invincible. As if is skateboarding got that big that it became recession proof. I mean, is it that great of an idea to open up three "ride shops" all within 4 miles of each other? Obviously not.
But what do I know, all the stores in Irvine could be doing great.
I wonder if that fat kid who worked there and emailed us a while back still reads this. If so, email the site and let us know whats up with the Irvine shops.

I was camping over the weekend, so I wasn't able to upload a post from Skippy that had to do with some contest at harvard. Sorry dude. Anyways, I got a report about it Mike Sun. Some weird crap happened, and for some reason I couldn't update the site. That and I'm a lazy sack of shit.
Anyways, I saw Mind Feild, and damn, it was good. I think I can stop caring about videos now.
Last weekend, Karkool turned 21! Happy Birthday man, it was a fun weekend.
Scope Jonny at on the lowcard site. Pretty random. What you can't see is Jonny bombing a semi sketchy sidewalk nearly hitting a dude coming out of a porta potty. If that ain't good enough, here's Moss on the vans site.
We're on the verge of renewing the site yet again, and Rich and I were debating if keeping the site would be worth it. Neither of us live, skate, or film in Irvine often, so it makes it a bit difficult to keep this site relevant. However, we decided to keep it going, and we're currently brainstorming on ways to make it more fresh. We have some ideas, and we also got an email from a friend of the site that had some ideas as well. So with that, the site might be a little slow for the time being, but just take it into consideration that we're hoping to revamp this son of a bitch. Oh yeah, and if you think you have an idea on how we could improve, please share it with us.

I finally have some shit to post today. As you can see in the box to the right, I finally made a little 4kegger teaser. Who doesn't love to watch John Choi act the fool? Also I posted up Skatin' Steve's part, complete with the Back to the Future intro. This part is my definite favorite. Badass tricks, a badass song, and lots of dickies. When we premiered this baby I remember hearing young girls screaming whenever Steven was on the screen. Skatin' Steve is a hunk.

The next part in the BoneStorm saga is from our Seal Beach homeboy, Cameron Furlong. Killa Cam tore the shit out of his ACL early on filming for this shit, which took him out of the game for almost two years. He filmed the majority of this in 6 months on a freshly healed knee. Pretty savage if you ask me. And his 4Kegs shit is looking even tighter.

The Haters was sick, and the premiere was fun, until acting the fool caught up with us. Also fuck the dollar theater for banning Steven. Big ups to TP, Parsia, Aidan, and everybody else who killed it in that, I want to watch it again, but I sat on the DVD I was given and snapped it. So bummed, I wanted to see Cameron's shirtless clip again.
I think its time for the second installment of Bonestorm theater. Here is my part. I know... I skate a lot of banks, and nothing over knee high, and only do one flip trick. Cameron gave me heat for giving myself first part, but I let him use a 2pac/Lynard Skynard remix, so I think its warranted.

As Karl mentioned, the final ramp jam that went down on Saturday night was pretty wild. We went through almost 2 full tapes, filming everything from your standard drunk drop in slams to almost every other type of hijinx you can imagine. Bladers, gas masks, coping dancing, 30 bricks, and Alex's dad were all present to witness the rowdiest session to ever go down at the Barker residence. Thanks for having everyone over Alex. There will be a video made that hopefully does the night justice.

I like this part. I'll explain why. The first clip, at the 2up 2up 4down, Barker wanted to get James Craig's autograph that day, and have him sign it 'King of the County' Craig, but I was a loser and begged him not to. Also he skates at Cal State Fullerton, my former Alma Mater. I used to see Evan schiefelbine skating to class there. Lastly he looks like the bartender who works at the Tee Off Bar and Grill at 33rd and Clement, but I think James Craig is cooler because he has never thrown me out 3 consecutive visits in a row.

Over break Jonny wanted to film some HSP montage, and with HSP being my Dagger House since I was 13, I agreed it was time to make one. Unfortunately, we never got enough time to make it. It was too hot to skate with the full pads that are required and never got more than 30 minutes both times we tried to sneak in. So with all said, heres what we got, Abo killing the hubba with appearances by Jonny and Barker.

Since my shit has been pretty boring lately, this post will be for all you guys having shit talk withdrawals.
Rich recently asked me what I was going to do with my coveted Sheckler footage. At one point in time I considered trying to make some money off it, but now I don't really give a fuck. No offense to his mom or anything, but I wish someone would have punched her in the stomach sometime in her first or second trimester with that kid. Blow your load.

The Sucks made it to yet another year. Hopefully 2008 will be as fun as 07 was.
